Riau is a province in Indonesia. Riau Islands province borders Vietnam and Cambodia in the north, Malaysia and West Kalimantan Province on the east, Bangka Belitung Jambi and in the south, Singapore, Malaysia, and Riau Province in the west.

The broad area is mostly ocean, and only about 5% of the land. The capital of Riau Islands province is located in Tanjung Pinang.
